That’s the Corner bench, by Norwegian industrial designer Lars Tornøe. The benches take advantage of existing concrete infrastructure, and attach via brackets.

The frames are made of hot-dip galvanized steel, with an option to add powder-coating. Four types of wood are available: Nordic Pine and Kebony for outdoor use, Oak and Ash for indoor use.

The Corner bench is in production by Vestre, a Scandinavian manufacturer of outdoor furniture. Because a number of their products are destined for harsh, salty coastal environments, they offer a lifetime guarantee against rust (and a 15-year guarantee on the wood).

With the lifetime guarantee the powder-coating option isn’t so much about protection, but aesthetics: They offer 200 different colors.
