Street installations bring feminine lace to urban areas

Using the street as her canvas, artist Nespoon creates mini installations by placing intricate lace patterns onto the street and trees. Nespoon calls her art “public jewelry”, and she stencils sidewalks, hangs homemade crochet, and sprays signposts.

Her intent is to surprise streetwalkers and bring joy to them. While all the installations are in urban city spaces, they seem to give a small community feel to the area affected.
