Studio Archive Completed An office In Shanghai With Polycarbonate Dividers

Chinese studio Archive completed the interiors of W Studio’s offices using strict plywood and concrete as the main materials.
The architects have completed the environment playing with geometrical lighting fixtures and green plants. The polycarbonate dividers allow for a transparent environment appropriate for a modern workplace.

In order to separate the different functional areas and to allow decent air circulation, Shanghai-based Archive let the wall do not reach the ceilings. Inside, the corridor sees a façade wall made of a plywood frame inserted into the original structure.

The reception area is relatively intimate, seeing a cozy space that is surrounded by wood wool sound-absorbing boards. The only private office in the project is simply separated by the PC wave plates which allow for the required privacy while maintaining the concept of transparency.

Archive is a Shanghai based-office, founded in 2018 by Shen Li, who works both in architectural design and photography. The office works on a broad range of subjects, from object to architecture.
