Of all touchy animated short films out there, Strange Alloy may be the mother.
The 3D animated short film by Loïc Bramoullé tackles the philosophical question: What would Earth be like after all human life ceases to exist? One possible answer is depicted through the eyes of an alien child exploring ruins left behind by a by-gone civilization, while wondering what life would have been like. The places depicted in “Strange Alloy” were inspired by photographs taken in Myanmar, and the short took nearly two and a half years to complete.
