Gwyneth Leech, renowned for her ongoing series involving suspended coloured cups, is out with an incredible short film.
The NYC-based artist was enduring some personal losses when she learned that a new high-rise hotel would soon block her 13th story view of New York skyline. Leech incorporated this into her artistic practice with the help of filmmaker Angelo J. Guglielmo, Jr.

The short film, which captures grief in an amazingly creative way, acquired the attention of Ivan Kander of Short of the Week, who said, “Proving the power of art, Leech is able to transform the pedestrian (like the coffee cups she’s famous for doodling on) into the profound.”
