The primitive jewelry inspired ‘Perles’ necklace

The new ‘Perles’ necklace collection by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec uses naturally occurring stones with a machined aesthetic to create elegant wearable shapes.  The design duo has a history of woking with repetitive module forms and this new design is in line with their vision.

The Perles are made of blood jasper, black onyx, and Carrara marble, which are all fairly foreign materials to the necklace industry. Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec have a particular “fascination with primitive jewelry” making these uncommon stones the perfect medium for their new line. The Perles collection was designed as a part of a special project and can be found at Gallery Kreo in Paris.
