Sleevebucks is on Instagram and Tumblr showcasing artwork created from Starbucks cup sleeves. They’re “cheerfully doodling on your favorite caffeinated mermaid,” and have been doing so since sometime last year.
Some of the doodles are fairly simple while others are quite elaborate. There are portraits of everyone from Harry Potter’s Hagrid (there are actually quite a few Harry Potter doodles) to Frozen’s Anna to Maleficent. Many of the posts even include what drink the sleeve was originally holding, just in case you were curious.
Sleevebucks is a fun and interesting take on what has become a ubiquitous part of coffee culture, whether you love or hate Starbucks.
