The Talk Chair Has a Spare Yet Strong Geometric Presence

Talk is a  padded lounge chair created by Italy-based designer Alessandro Di Prisco for Mogg. It is constructed using only three elements that are the same shape, making for a deceptively simple design. Talk’s geometric presence relies on simple visual lines, such as a lack of armrests, that add to the minimal, sculptural piece of furniture by – surprisingly – taking away. A truly versatile chair, Talk makes sense for use in most environments: residential spaces, areas for relaxation, and even waiting rooms. Its curved plywood structure can be covered in three types of upholstery: cloth, bouclette, and velvet that’s available in a range of hues.
