But yes, it actually unfurls.
“It was because we practice many activities directly on the floor that we felt the need to create a floor covering that gives the floor an additional dimension,” the designers write. “Exercising, playing with your children, settling in with your computer or making a phone call while leaning up against your couch are some of the spontaneous actions that could use some support.”
This is the kind of object where, if I was asked to invest in its manufacture, I’d politely decline—but if it was an ID student project and I was the professor, I’d give it an A.
