Clio Newton creates large scale portraits of women using only compressed charcoal.
The Swiss artist’s massive drawings can be as tall as eight feet and manage to capture even the most minute details on subjects’ bodies, hair, and faces. The drawings will be shown off in Munich as part of an exhibition called, “Realism” at Benjamin Eck Galerie.
