Just like human celebrities, characters like Iron Man and Terminator’s killing machine are known for their unique faces. French illustrator Quibe is familiar with many of these memorable heads and has a vast collection of drawings based on these comic characters.
The collection, titled ‘One Line Masks and Helmets,’ is an ode to gestural drawing. It involves condensing the main features of the subject into minimalist illustrations by using only a line. Don’t let the simplicity of the drawings deceive you as they’re quite difficult to pull off digitally!
