What started with a single bad review for the place that doesn’t pay their staff developed into a full-on crappy review fest where each one would reach a whole new hilarity level. Overwhelmed by the engagement on social media, Emily tweeted the screenshot of her original TikTok post that read: “I’m deceased.”

It got 324.7k likes and 39k retweets, and now the revenge reviews have taken on a life of their own with creative, absurdist, and drop-dead funny plot twists of what has (probably not) happened in that very frugal cafe.
