Three-wheeled ‘J’ concept fresh from the Tokyo Motor Show

The Tokyo Motor Show is in full swing this week and Kawasaki has just revealed their crazy three-wheeled ‘J’ concept vehicle. With so much recent experimentation in automobiles it is getting hard to tell the difference between ‘motorcycles,’ ‘cars,’ and ‘spaceships.’ This race-style motorcycle goes from the sleek and thin “Sport Mode” to the wider-wheeled “Comfort Mode” so you can be both Batman and Bruce Wayne.

There is little information disclosed about this outlandish concept but Kawasaki has said that the ‘J’ uses GIGACELL high-capacity nickel-metal hydride battery and proprietary battery management technology. The ‘J’ will probably never make it out of the concept stage, but I appreciate Kawasaki for expanding the idea (and wheels) of the traditional ‘motorcycle.’
