I truly enjoy when artists push themselves to achieve a quality of work that sets a personal and cultural standard. Hyperrealistic artist Jason de Graaf has picked one of the most challenging subjects for nearly all of his work that has helped him set the bar in the realm of hyperrealistic painting; de Graf paints extremely reflective objects.

Through still life narratives and a strategic manipulation of space Jason de Graaf leads the viewer on a spectacular journey into his painted world. His created compositions include average marbles, glasses and light bulbs that are nearly like the ones we are used to – but in his paintings they actually appear more real than reality.  His supreme quality of hyperrealist craft embodies an earned arrogance.
