This summer Ulster County, New York held a contest to design an “I Voted” sticker. They received six submissions from area teens:

Here are the voting results:
14-year-old Hudson Rowan, with 93% of the vote, was the clear winner.
“It’s got crazy bulging eyes, mangled looking hair, looking off into the distance … some crazy, like, spider robot legs shooting outta the sides,” Rowan told NPR. “It kind of gives a chaotic vibe.”
Rowan and his design are spot-on. Of all the entries, his most accurately depicts what it currently feels like to participate in democracy.
