It’s part of a long-standing debate between the East and West coast — which one is better? Illustrator and comedian Sarah Cooper weighs in on the debate with a series of drawings that look at the similarities and differences between living in New York City and San Francisco.
Cooper, who lived in NYC for five years before moving to San Francisco, says “Neither city is clearly superior, but there are some distinct differences.” After her first year of living on the west coast, she produced a sequel set of illustrations that ponder additional differences such as pizza, bicycles, and corner stores.
