Eugenia Loli is a Greece-born/California-based artist who had been through many different jobs (nurse, computer programmer, technology journalist, filmmaker) before settling down on collaging. With the knowledge gained from animation production, the self-proclaimed major geek decided to try collaging and has been hooked ever since.
Her collage works conjure up a charmingly weird world of psychedelia where nothing seems to make sense. It’s an absurdist dreamland where men have disco balls for faces, cacti grow out of clothes and spaghetti moon is an actual thing. Her hallucinatory imagery is a wonderful treat for the eyes.
