Annual Corso Zundert parade features giant floats inspired by Van Gogh

Parades are notorious for drawing huge crowds, and why wouldn’t they? They’re a ton of fun to attend. This year saw yet another terrific Corso Zundert parade.

The legendary event took place in the streets of Zundert, Netherlands and was adorned by giant floats prepared by 19 teams. Vincent Van Gogh, who was born in Zundert about 162 years ago, served as the inspiration for the floats. They used everything from the color schemes he used to paint, right down to his appearance, taken from self-portraits.
