By scanning every object he uses in his life and putting them into digital collages, Hong Hao has created a colorful and intricate series called ‘My Things.’
The photos are reminiscent of childhood “I Spy” books but have a much more personal touch. Hao catalogs every single object he uses for more than 14 years. Each image has a name that includes the year it was created.

While the images seem like a hoarders paradise, Hao said that it’s only a form of bookkeeping and he doesn’t have a strong emotional tie to the objects. It’s simply a way to document everything he consumes.
