Artist uses reclaimed materials to created oceanic art

Ross McDowell is a surfer and avid lover of nature, especially any and all things relating to the ocean. Most of his work is done on hand-scraped reclaimed Indonesian teak, inspired obviously from oceanic nature.  In all his work you can appreciate the worn out finish that gives you the feeling of an antique treasure that just drifted onto the wave-licked sands of some distant beach.
