Biological simulations add chaos artist’s electrifying music video

Digital art is slowly making its way into mainstream music and this artsy music video might be why.

London-based artist Max Cooper‘s newest track, “Order from Chaos,” from his album Emergence, combines his interests in science, music, and visual arts. Combining the talent of French visual effects artist Maxime Causeret, the video features biological simulations depicting molecular forms colliding, merging, and morphing into colored, brain-like structures. Cooper writes, “Maxime Causeret selected this track to work with, under the brief to map the emergent rhythm to an exploration of emergence in living form. His video shows the raindrops initially, then going into simple cellular forms and then showing the important idea of cooperation between simple cells to form more robust colonies of life.” Check out the music video below and listen to the full album here.
