Designer duo Craig & Karl were never two to shy away from ridiculous, almost impossible projects. That is why for the duo, the world’s largest candy carpet, as curated by AllRightsReserved, is just a piece of cake. Pun intended.
The exhibit will be installed in the busy streets of business district Chengdu in China. It weighs approximately 13 tons, is 607-feet long, and requires a total number of 2000 workers to finish in 5 days. Fittingly called “Sweet As One,” the installation will spread across pedestrian path walks dotted with trees and fashion boutiques. The candies are spread into patterns of different shapes such as flowers, polka dots, and even Panda heads.

The catch?
All the candy will be donated to the underprivileged children located in the rural areas of Chengdu after China’s New Year celebration.
