Hans Wegner’s creations are celebrated treasures of modern design history. The design icon produced several hundred chairs in his lifetime of 92 years (1914-2007). Over the years we have seen many of his designs go back into limited production, most recently the ‘Swivel Chair.’
The Denmark company PP Mobler has reproduced the iconic chair for the world. The Swivel Chair features all of the graceful lines and curves in wood common in Wegner’s designs and a more rare metal component – a polished-steel frame. The reissued Swivel Chair design comes in oak, ash or cherry and is available through Wyeth Home for $12,300.
