Missouri-based artist Rachel Ignotofsky has always been fascinated by science and art. With her latest illustration series, titled ‘Women in Science’ she pays tribute to the most celebrated female scientists, whose works have changed our world forever.
Each of the stylized infographics introduces one iconic image of the scientist in her working field, together with her name, her specialties, and her most significant achievements. Ignotofsky plans to cover 50 female scientists with her informative drawings to show younger audiences that anyone can choose science as a career, no matter their gender.
