Get your kids The Pip if you want them to learn how to code

Do you want to give your kids a head start on technology? With The Pip handheld gaming device, you can.

Curious Chip, a UK-based tech start-up company, recently created the gadget to allow children to discover the fun in coding at an early age. It is built with basic programming languages such as HTML, Python, and Javascript – all of which are designed to suit kids of all ages.

Players will first go through a familiarization phase by playing retro games such as Pac-Man and Snake. They will then progress to coding tutorials that will teach them how to program devices and even how to make LED lights flash. It can also be used by two players through USB-enabled controllers.

When asked about the project, Jason Frame from Curious Chip responded, “We made Pip so that people could easily dive in deeper and learn how technology works on the inside, empowering them to take control of technology however they like.”

The Pip is currently on a Kickstarter campaign.
