Odd human still lifes captured by Italian photographer Giuseppe Palmisano.
Giuseppe Palmisano is a young photographer who lives and works in Bologna, Italy. His main objectives are people – especially women, but unlike most photographers, Giuseppe stages his models in seemingly lifeless sceneries. This way, he’s pairing human bodies with ordinary furnishings. Furthermore, he likes to create intriguing similarities and contrasts through colors, form, and the posing of the model. His images are bizarre and captivating at the same time. They draw the viewer into their spell and make them think about the scene. Giuseppe Palmisano is more interested in expressing his conceptual ideas and the presence of human bodies than creating portraits of conventional beauty standards.
