After losing the 2020 election, President Donald Trump was so desperate to hold onto office, he instructed a mob to violently storm the U.S. Capitol. But this did him and the country more harm than good. The gruesome event took 5 lives, and Trump’s own supporters have turned against him.

A recent Quinnipiac University poll found that President Donald Trump’s approval rating stands at 34%, while his disapproval is at 61%. The same pollster had Trump at a 33% approve to 60% disapprove split last week. CNN/SSRS (34%), Gallup (34%), and the Pew Research Center (29%) also show Trump hitting his lowest low of support during his presidency—his final first-term approval rating looks to be the lowest on record dating back since scientific polling began.
