Iconic photographs from GUNS N’ ROSES’ early touring days to be auctioned off for “Appetite for Destruction” anniversary

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of GUNS N’ ROSES’ worldwide hit debut album “Appetite for Destruction”, Rock Scene Auctions has launched a new auction that features 15 never before seen photographs from the rock band’s early tour days.

Mark “Weissguy” Weiss, the photographer who shot the iconic pictures, is letting 15 of his film shots to be auctioned off for the anniversary. Talking about his days photographing GUNS N’ ROSES on the road, Weiss recalls shooting the band in “the fall of 1986, eight months prior to the release of ‘Appetite For Destruction’. They were still working on the album. The buzz was out and Hit Parader magazine wanted me to shoot them for the cover.”
