There are literally thousands of ways of appreciating art and admiring a person’s creativity. But how do you digest art that you cannot see? That’s a question we’d like to ask Liu Bolin, the invisible artist.
Since 2005, the Chinese artist has been turning himself invisible using his body as a canvas. Bolin takes performance art to the next level by painting his body to match the background, successfully deceiving the untrained eye. His scenes, which include the masterfully crafted “Hiding in the City,” reflect the link between humans and our constructed environment.
