After a long hiatus, cult Youtube animated series ‘Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared’ is finally back with a fantastic third episode. The brainchild of British animation duo Becky Sloan and Joseph Pelling, the webshow offers fun edutainment that comes across like a nightmarish version of Sesame Street. Puppetry, stop-motion, and live action are combined in Sloan and Pelling’s hand-made approach to animation, along with their absurdist sense of humor.
The third episode tackles the subject of love, but not without a truly disturbing turn of events. There are three more episodes to come from their successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.
