“A unique art journey materialized in textiles, rugs, porcelains, and watercolors” is how architect Kostas Neofitidis describes his Kota Collection. The vibrant color and bold geometric shapes are an abstracted interpretation of Thailand’s Ao Chaloklum beach. All of the titles have nautical references, such as “At the Pier”, “Sunset Beach”, and “Underwater”.
In the video that accompanies these two-dimensional designs, the static shapes are animated, revealing the flapping wings of butterflies, the swaying tails of swimming fish, and the pulsing heartbeat of this maritime setting.
