~ Boy, did those days suck! This watercolor painting captures the joy and innocence of growing up in a world without a great Cyclops terrorizing your home and family. Some days I wish we could all be as carefree as these children. There’s a lot we could learn from them. But I could still probably beat them at a game of Settlers of Catan. Because they’re just kids, and I can always lie about the rules of the game to ensure my victory. And if they know I’m lying, what are they gonna do about it? I’m bigger than them. But I suppose that Cyclops was bigger than anybody in the village and it still got murdered. Let’s all reflect on the decisions we’ve made in our lives. ~
