Paper is extremely versatile in the crafts and these fantastic new works by Amy Genser show it!
The Connecticut-based artist handles paper like clay, cutting, rolling, and mounting sheets of mulberry paper on large masonite boards. This creates reliefs amazingly reminiscent of coral under the ocean viewed from above. Genser was recently commissioned to create a gigantic 150 ft. mural for the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. This has also been exhibited across the US and Europe.
