Shenzhen, Hong Kong Street Photography by Marcus Wendt

Ultraviolet Break of Day – Street photography by Marcus Wendt in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, China.

Marcus Wendt, creative director of London based studio Field has recently explored the streets of Hong Kong and Shenzhen. “Due to a heavy dose of jet lag induced insomnia, I’ve started to explore the Kowloon area of Hong Kong as well as Shenzhen’s Huaqiangbei “The World’s Greatest Electronics Market” late at night on a recent trip to China.” – Marcus Wendt

The mood at night with all the different streets and neon signs is similar to those 1990s cyberpunk games and films such as Syndicate and Blade Runner. Some images of the series ‘Ultraviolet Break of Day’ can be found below. For more, please have a look at: www.field.io
