Site-specific paste-ups interact with objects in the streets of Paris

French artist Charles Leval, aka Levalet, brings humor, provocation, and edgy surprise into the already art-filled streets of Paris. His conceptual paste-ups are often site-specific and incorporate details of their surroundings into the eye-catching imagery.

Most of his street art characters interact with objects that were already there beforehand, such as a piece with a Minotaur bas-relief. It’s refreshing to see the intentional props make the artworks more vivid and bring them into the third dimension.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.

Be sure to check Levalet’s website and Facebook page to see more of his work. If you’re anywhere near Paris, though, don’t miss a chance to stumble upon them and witness them live.
