Near the end of 2017, Elon Musk’s SpaceX launched their Falcon 9 rocket and it created quite a dazzling display for residents of Southern California.
Photographer Jesse Watson was in Yuma, Arizona, and close enough to the launch to capture a fantastic time-lapse of the rocket tearing through the dusk sky. Unsuspecting people were left puzzled and wondering whether it was actually a comet, an alien invasion, or a rare atmospheric phenomenon.
