The 3-way woodworking joint that went viral

Woodworker Shinobu Kobayashi has popularized a three-way woodworking joint that is an extrapolation of the dovetail. The woodworker explains that the Japanese joint called kawai tsugite was invented by a professor at Tokyo University.

Although Kobayashi is based out of Australia, he is currently in Sweden where he is studying Scandinavian woodworking techniques. Check out his Instagram videos on this joint here, and here.
