This photographer endured the freezing Iceland temperature so we have an idea of its beauty in winter

We’ve all heard of artists who would deliberately choose to inconvenient themselves for the sake of producing an out of this world art. Tom Rex Jessett from Auckland, New Zealand is one of them. Jessett endured two freezing weeks sleeping in the car to capture mesmerizing photos of Iceland in winter. It was a budget trip and one that most of us won’t call a vacation. He experienced extremely harsh conditions and even asked himself a couple of times if it was worth it.

His photographs are proof of what an epic adventure he has been through and that every freezing moment of it was worth it. His takeaway from this short journey includes snaps of the Jokulsarlon Ice Beach, the mountains of Vestrahorn, Aurora Borealis at Kirkjufell, and Bruarfoss. Check out the rest of his photographs on his website, Facebook, and Instagram.
