When it comes to finding creative ways to make impressive videos, it doesn’t get any better “Architect” by Kevin McGloughlin.
Created as an entry into the Hennessy Portrait Prize 2015, “Architect” is based on a portrait of Kevin’s father, Páraic McGloughlin, Sr. and combines various techniques including time-lapse and long exposure photography with real footage. McGloughlin then used digital manipulation techniques and stacked the sequence of images into a 3D environment.

The resulting video is a warping portrait of McGloughlin, Sr. that is surreal and, in more ways than one, mind-boggling. Check out the video below and visit his Vimeo page for more amazing films!
