26-year-old Helene Meldahl has taken Instagram selfies to the next level. The Norwegian native manages to find new ways to liven up the typically monotonous selfies that beam with character and playfulness. She treats every mirror self-portrait as a glimpse into a whimsical fantasy world through a looking glass full of Disney characters, rainbows, hearts and cupcakes.
It takes Mehdahl about 20-30 minutes to create each elaborate selfie using either chalk or acrylic markers. Check out the various clever ways she comes up with to hide her iPhone!
