In a project called Flagsters 2.0, Russian illustrator Kirill Zaytsev, addresses national stereotypes and country-specific sayings. By converting the flags of nations into icons, the illustrator presents us with mock logos.
Some of the illustrations show a sharp wit — for example the French flag is shaped into lips to illustrate a French kiss, with a stylish birthmark to add a chic flair. And though the Swiss Army Knife for Switzerland may seem a bit obvious, the record player illustration is a witty throwback to illustrate the British Invasion.
